Great find for lunch Dropping student son off we needed a bite and found this lovely friendly place. Had a vegan breakfast and a cheese omelette, coffee and a tea. The breakfast was excellent; veggie sausages can be dry, these weren’t and the mushrooms were perfectly cooked. Nice buttered toast (and no plastic butter pats). The omelette was fluffy and accompanied by a lovely little salad. Friendly and good value. Recommended

Fresh tasty food as before Decided to go to the Billing Tea Room with my Mother in Laew as been previously few years ago in Rawdon, didnt realise it had moved to Headingley but although not on a road you would drive past I found it easily. All vivid precautions were in place masks worn hand sanitizer.we ordered Afternoon Tea for 2 both the ladies were really friendly and chatted to us.we were asked if anything we didnt like and they made a selection of sandwiches on really soft fresh tiny bread cakes perfect size with having so many. There was Scone cream and jam, plus a selection of yummy cakes all very fresh tasty.Tea was topped up when needed, shame there was no one in to give it a bit of atmosphere but it is a Tuesday.would recommend for the food if not for the outlook.

Luscious Lockdown AfternoonTea A surprise afternoon tea, courtesy of our lovely daughter, delivered to our door today by Billing Tea Room, as a Mothers’ Day treat. And what a treat it was too! A copious variety of sandwiches with salad garnish, excellent scones (just like Granny’s) with little pots of jam and clotted cream, strawberry cream meringues and so many cakes and bakes! All I had to do was get out the pretty china and boil the kettle. Simply the best afternoon tea supplied by simply the best tea room!

Afternoon tea ? Stunning take away afternoon tea today. Absolutely delicious, beautifully presented selection of open sandwiches, scones and sweet treats in colourful ribbon wrapped boxes. I honestly can’t recommend this place and the friendly staff highly enough! I often visit for a takeaway coffee and snack when working, I will definitely be ordering the afternoon tea again.

Lovely Afternoon Lockdown Tea at Home I ordered afternoon tea for my friend and her daughter for her birthday. Delivered to her home. They were thrilled, I had a video call with them during their tea experience it all looked great. It was delivered in a lovely box, looked amazing. Food was excellent I was told, plenty of choice and good quality. I rang the tea rooms to book the treat, the lady (I presume the owner) was very helpful and friendly and when I rang today just to check she cld still deliver due to the snow she said no problem. Arrived on time, excellent value for money and I would certainly recommend.

Delicious afternoon teas delivered to my home. That says it all really. Selina delivered afternoon tea for 2 to our house yesterday and it was delicious. A few extra savoury things for my non-cake eating husband but plenty of cake for me. Very enjoyable.

The famous Billing tea rooms at a new address! We visited The Billing Tea Rooms at their new premises in Headingley(3 Stott Road LS6 1GH) for a quick bite on a Sunday afternoon. They were previously based in Rawdon, which is where the name came from originally. I ordered quiche and my wife had a Cornish pasty. This came with a salad, which filled the plate. I had tea to drink and my wife had a latte. We were regular visitors when The Billing was in Rawdon and the new premises didn’t disappoint. We will be back again!

Worth seeking out... off the beaten track. Just for a change of scene I went to the Billings tea room today in Headingley. I’d been to it when it was in Rawdon and was impressed so was keen to try the new venue which opened 2 days ago . It’s a strange location and you’re unlikely to just stumble upon it but worth seeking it out. Good breakfast menu great lunches and home made cakes. ?. Add on very welcoming staff and good service and it makes for a nice experience. Address is Stott Road which is somewhere between Richmond road and Victoria Rd so I used Satnav to get there. It’s open Sunday and. Also dog friendly. ? Recommended??

A real gem! We had booked afternoon tea for us & our daughter, & as we were in stricter lockdown, from a part of Pendle, we were very grateful that we could enjoy our tea in the sunny private garden behind the cafe. The variety of tasty treats was very impressive, with substantial scones, refills of whipped cream, & additional hot water, & really delicious light but chewy homemade meringues (made by the owner’s mum now aged 83, who definitely hasn’t lost her knack!) The whole experience was a real delight. It was such a lovely sunny spot in the late afternoon, & conducive to conversation that we asked if we could stay in the garden after the cafe closed, & they were very obliging. The owners were extremely hospitable, kind & helpful & said that if we were still there in the morning, they’d take out breakfast order! Altogether we spent a very pleasant 4 hours in the Teagarden, catching up with our daughter & enjoying the delicious homemade fare. They were closing down at these premises, the next day, which was sad to hear, but are moving the business & opening up in Headingly, where I’m sure they will be very successful. I wish them all a happy move & we hope to visit again once they are re-established there.
